Mission

To inspire community pride, the Irmo Arbor Day Committee plants trees and teaches citizens about the benefits trees provide. Through outreach, service, and education, we work to improve the quality of life for all Irmo residents.

The Irmo Arbor Day Committee believes in the power of beautification and connected communities.

Our Impact

Since 2003, we have planted over 3,000 trees and improved over 50 acres of public land using zero public dollars. We are funded entirely by private donations, and every project we complete is made possible by the Committee’s fundraising efforts and the generous donors who believe in our mission and share our vision for a safer, greener, and more connected community.
